Cloud Mountain Turquoise | Sterling Silver
This exceptional ingot cuff by Navajo silversmith Derrick Gordon showcases a rare and increasingly hard-to-find material—Chinese Cloud Mountain Turquoise. Once abundant in the 1990s, this turquoise has become scarce, making pieces like this especially desirable to collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Seven hand-selected stones line the face of the cuff, each displaying rich, deep blue tones accented by intricate spiderweb matrix in black and subtle maroon hues. The variation in each stone creates a striking rhythm across the bracelet, giving it both movement and depth.
Set in a traditional ingot-style cuff, the silverwork is clean and purposeful, allowing the stones to remain the focal point. Small drop accents sit between each setting, while classic Navajo stampwork decorates the terminals and continues along the inside of the cuff—a hallmark of Gordon’s attention to detail and respect for tradition.
Bold yet refined, this bracelet bridges history and craftsmanship, highlighting a unique chapter in turquoise sourcing and Navajo jewelry design.
