Persian Turquoise | Sterling Silver
There are places around Gallup, New Mexico that feel tied to the very roots of Native jewelry making. From Pine Springs , Arizona to Vanderwagen, New Mexico generations of silversmiths have come out of this region—artists shaped by tradition, history, and a deep respect for the craft.
Calvin Martinez is part of that lineage.
Known for his heavy silver and confident stamp work, Calvin builds pieces the old way—solid, balanced, and meant to last. This wide cuff is a perfect example. Five large oval cuts of Persian Turquoise sit boldly across the face, each stone rich with deep blue color and dark, earthy matrix.
The stones are framed with classic rope work and surrounded by detailed stamping that carries across the entire cuff, giving it that unmistakable Navajo character.
It’s substantial on the wrist, with a presence that speaks to both tradition and craftsmanship.
