Persian Turquoise | Sterling Silver

Great turquoise is getting harder to come by, and pieces like this are a reminder of just how special it can be when found. These five Persian turquoise stones were sourced from a small shop in Zuni, New Mexico—places known for supplying raw material to Zuni artists who cut their own stones for intricate needlepoint and cluster work, or carve them into fetishes.

Rather than uniformity, these stones embrace individuality. Each one varies slightly in size and character, with rich blue tones and natural matrix that speak to their origin. The cuts are distinctly Navajo—larger, bolder, and intentionally unmatched—giving the bracelet a more organic, collected feel.

Navajo silversmith Calvin Martinez brings it all together with his unmistakable stampwork. Set on a traditional ingot-style cuff, the silver is filled with deep, precise stamping that frames the stones without overpowering them. Twisted wire bezels and classic drop accents add depth and texture, while the heavy gauge silver gives the piece a solid, timeless presence.

This is the kind of bracelet that defines a collection—rooted in tradition, rich in material, and unmistakably handmade.
