Kingman Turquoise | Sterling Silver
Navajo silversmith Melvin Francis creates jewelry that balances traditional stamp work with an easy everyday style. This bracelet is a versatile design that can comfortably be worn by either a man or a woman. Built from a solid sterling silver cuff, the bracelet features deep hand stamped patterns flowing across the surface, giving the piece the bold rustic character that has long defined Navajo silverwork from the Four Corners region.
At the center sits a small round cut of sky blue Kingman turquoise from Arizona, framed with a twisted silver rope border that adds just the right amount of dimension. Melvin makes these bracelets with wearability in mind, allowing the cuff to be gently adjusted without placing stress on the stone setting. The medium width also makes it ideal for stacking alongside other silver cuffs or turquoise bracelets.
The clean lines, strong stamp work, and vivid blue stone give this bracelet a timeless Southwestern feel that works just as well on its own as it does layered with a collection.

It’s a familiar story in Native American jewelry: one generation passes the craft to the next. That’s how Navajo silversmith Melvin Francis got his start. From the time he was eight, Melvin sat at his father Ted Francis’s workbench—watching, helping, and slowly learning the skills that would shape his life. Today, Melvin still uses many of the same tools his late father once held in his hands.
