The oval cut of Stone Mountain Turquoise is filled with deep blue color and heavy spiderweb matrix that moves across the surface like a desert landscape seen from above. The stone has an incredible amount of depth and detail, the kind of turquoise that keeps revealing something new every time you look at it.
Melvin Francis sets the stone in one of his traditional Navajo cuff designs, allowing the turquoise to remain the focus while surrounding it with balanced silverwork. Twisted wire frames the stamped and mirror shined bezel, while stamped triangle wire borders add texture and rhythm to the bracelet. Hand-twisted wire coils and silver drops around the stone create a sense of movement without overpowering the natural beauty of the turquoise.
Finished with a bright mirror polish, the bracelet feels both timeless and wearable—classic Navajo silverwork paired with a remarkable American turquoise stone.
